I can't believe it is the end of an era....No more single digits. She will be the big (One Oh!) next year.
I know , I know, your thinking......Geeeezzz, she looks old to have such a young daughter, well ........this one came late...as they say, save the best for last.
She is a chip off the ol' block, she loves to decorate, plan and design.
Here is a view of her cakes..One chocolate, and one vanilla. I go to the local grocery and tell these gals what I want, and explain...this color here, that color there, and add these gumpaste flowers bouquets...and viola!!! They are all of 12 bucks!! I just love how they look.
Then my girl tells me, oh, "Mom, we are going to have face painting right?"....Oh, of course....eh hum....So off to the local craft store I go.... Do you think I can find clown noses this time of year????? NO only at Halloween I start hearing.....Okay, Plan B. ..... I find these terrific chenille balls of fluff in ultra cool colors...sooooooooooo, all you need is a little rubber cement...put a dab on the ball, and a dab on their nose, and wait till it gets tacky....(just like with paper)...And I am not kidding, these balls stayed on through relay races, pinata whacks, and just crazy fun. Some fell victim to cake icing, or an occasional fruit punch dunk...but hey, most of them stayed put.
I couldn't resist this bundle of tissue paper...It comes in this great heavy ream for 4.99..... I dont know why I can't just go to the craft store, and walk out with what I came for....NOOOOOOO I have to buy EVERYTHING I don't need. But I have it {Just in case}.

I love that she wanted face decorating instead of a makeup party. She is precious and you are so blessed!
